BEHAVE 2025 is the 8th edition of the biannual European Energy Network event focusing on the application of behavioural insights in energy efficiency and climate mitigation. This year's edition is organised by ADEME, French Agency for Ecological Transition, on 11-12 December 2025 in Paris, France.

Arriving in Paris

Paris is exceptionally well connected by high-speed rail, making train travel one of the most convenient and sustainable options.
We strongly encourage participants to come by train or public transport whenever possible.

If you are still hesitating on your mode of transportation, you can compare the estimated CO2 emissions thanks to the ADEME online tool !

 

 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris is easily accessible by public transport, especially from train stations :

  • RER B: Stop at Cité Universitaire (direct from Gare du Nord or Charles de Gaulle Airport)
  • Tramway T3a: Stop at Cité Universitaire
  • Metro Line 4: Stop at Porte d’Orléans, then a 10-minute walk

TRAIN

By Train, Paris is easily accessible from many major European cities:

  • London → Paris Gare du Nord (Eurostar) – ~2h15
  • Brussels → Paris Gare du Nord (Thalys) – ~1h30
  • Amsterdam → Paris Gare du Nord (Thalys) – ~3h20
  • Frankfurt → Paris Est (ICE/TGV) – ~3h45
  • Barcelona → Paris Gare de Lyon (Renfe-SNCF) – ~6h30

CAR

While we encourage participants to choose low-emission transport, we understand that in some cases, driving may be necessary.

By CAR : take the Périphérique Sud, exit Porte d'Orléans or Porte de Gentilly. The entrance reserved for cars is located at 27, boulevard Jourdan, for parking of up to one hour only. For day parking, use Charlety parking.

PARKING :
Charlety parking, 17 avenue Pierre de Coubertin, 75013 Paris. Then 8-minutes walk from Cité Universitaire.

PLANE

If arriving by plane, we recommend using public transport from the airport to reduce the environmental footprint and avoid city traffic.

  • From Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG): Take RER B direct to Cité Universitaire (~45 min)
  • From Orly Airport (ORY):
    Orlyval + RER B (~35 min): Take Orlyval to Antony station + RER B to Paris getting off at the Cité universitaire station.
  • Metro Line 14 + Tram T3a : with the métro 14, stop at Maison Blanche and take the tram T3a at Porte d’Italie then stop at Cité Universitaire.

If you have specified an allergy or dietary preference when registering, we will try to take this into account as best as possible. Please mention this to the catering staff, they will assist you.
